What's neXt for your career?
neXt was created to facilitate networking between the industry's up & coming meeting planners--those with 5-9 years of full-time planning experience--across the country and around the world. The group holds networking gatherings in cities across the U.S. (and soon internationally), and also facilitates networking through its private, planner-only forum.
During the first five years of your meeting planning career, most of the time was spent learning how to do the job. Now, you are ready to learn why meetings and events are meaningful in the landscape of business and relationships. You may already know the importance of goals and objectives to your events (especially if you have your CMP designation). In this neXt phase of your career, you should be applying those same principles to your career goals and that is the conversation we'll have at our meetings. Plus, anything else you'd like to talk about with your peers can be brought to the roundtable.

A message from our founder, Shawna Suckow, CMP
neXt is a free, independent network not affiliated with MPI, PCMA or other industry associations. I created this network because I believed that the industry needed a forum just for planners of all levels.
I believe we need our own private forum to connect, learn, vent (sometimes), post questions, and share ideas amongst ourselves. This group enables us to reconnect with colleagues and create new relationships. When a city reaches 50 members, we begin holding quarterly gatherings in that city for its planners to get plugged back in, exchange brilliant ideas and reinvigorate.
To join, click the neXt Members Forum tab above - it's free, and full of resources built by and for our members.
